From June 26 to 29. The DH2018 Congress, arranged by the Colegio de Mexico and the UNAM, in collaboration with the Network of Digital Humanities, is a place for the diversity and dialogue in investigation and digital pedagogy in arts, social sciences and humanities. Hosted in Mexico city, the conference will take place in a Latin American city for the first time ever. Because of its social and cultural diversity, Mexico is the ideal place for digital humanists from different cultures, contexts and social-political realities to converge. To cross the cultural, technological, political and ideological borders is to take a jump into the creation of a community of truly international and inclusive digital humanities.
The country that takes the spot as special guest is China, while the country of design is Italy. This event gathers the cultural, artistic, gastronomic expressions of nations from the five continents.
Jazz pianist and world-wide known Grammy Award winner Diana Krall will perform in Mexico City as part of her world tour to support her latest album Turn Up the Quiet. This new album was mixed by the engineer and lifelong collaborator Al Schmitt, at the Capitol Studios in Hollywood, California.
